We recently met Alex Wright, a 16 year old Grade 10 student from Alberta, Canada.  Alex was staying with her family at The Crane Resort in Barbados and took her camera with her wherever she went.  

Alex is passionate about photography.  She said "not only are you holding onto a memory, but it is so dynamic and endless you can go anywhere with it."  Alex particularly likes taking pictures of industrial things - images people do not acknowlege or see.  She also likes taking pictures of flowers, plants, moss, mold, rust - small things that the naked eye normally wouldn't notice.  It allows her to to experiment with the camera's ability to focus.

In September Alex enters Webber Academy in Grade 11 and hopes to continue on to university on the West Coast of Canada.  While she hasn't quite made up her mind what she wants to do, she's thinking of perhaps Marketing and Advertisement.
