Set in the quiet residential community of Gibbs Glade, Todmorden is a traditionally styled 3 bedroom coral stone villa, designed so that all of the bedroom and living areas can enjoy the cooling tropical breezes.

Surrounded by lush gardens, the outdoor pool area is reminiscent of a tropical oasis. The fabulous salt water pool is ideal for children.

A private pathway next to the villa leads you across the street to Gibbs Beach, one of the loveliest beaches on the west coast of Barbados.

The villa’s living and dining areas as well as the kitchen have recently been renovated and there is now a bar complete with wine fridge and ice maker, perfect for entertaining, plus a TV area has been created and features a wall mounted flat screen HD TV with a Sonos surround sound system.

The 3 spacious bedrooms feature modern en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed plus a small annex that is furnished with two single beds. This room is suitable for children, or for use as a day room since it opens right out on to the pool deck. Bedrooms two and three have twin beds that can be made up as a king. The master bathroom has a shower and double vanity, while bathrooms two and three have showers and single vanities.

The entire west wall of the living and dining room opens out on to the pool deck via six double wooden doors. Here you can dine al fresco or relax in the shade overlooking the gardens and pool. The large pool deck has six comfortable sun beds plus an outdoor dining table. The built-in barbeque and wet bar adds to the outdoor entertaining ambiance.

The historic town of Speightstown, which offers a local supermarket, several fruit and veg stands and casual dining options, is less than a 5 minute drive away. Or the larger Holetown is a quick 10 minute drive away with a wider choice for shopping and dining.

Included in this Barbados villa rental is cook and housekeeper/laundress. Your cook prepares two consecutive meals a day for you, either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner, your choice. Your housekeeper/laundress takes care of both the house and your personal laundry.

Todmorden is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds, but still close enough to all of the amenities that Barbados has to offer.
