Clearwater, a spacious holiday villa set in tropical gardens, is located on the beautiful Gibbs Beach, St. Peter on the West Coast of Barbados.
The delightful coral stone villa is one of the original West Coast properties and it has maintained its elegant charm over the years. The home is furnished with lovely antiques throughout. Clearwater’s extensive open-plan dining and living area, designed to capture tropical breezes and provide views of the sea, opens on to a large, covered veranda with bar, where you can also dine or relax overlooking the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
All four bedrooms are air-conditioned as well as having cooling ceiling fans. Upstairs, the large master bedroom features a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and a wide picture window with excellent views of the sea and gardens. Downstairs, the second sea-side bedroom, with an expansive view down Gibbs Beach, has twin beds and en-suite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms overlook the gardens, have twin beds, and share a bathroom.
The dining and living areas are open plan and enter out onto a large, covered verandah with its own seating and dining areas, a bar, and views of the sea.
Spend your days comfortably relaxing on the extensive private beachfront patio in picturesque surroundings. Enjoy a drink in the sun or dine al fresco in the shade of the tamarind tree after you take a quick dip or a swim in the Caribbean Sea, only steps away. Clearwater’s conveniently-placed gates provide direct access to the beach, where you can walk on pristine white sands, watch the glorious sunsets, or gaze at the twinkling stars. Rinsing off is easy in the outside shower house. In addition to the outside patio, Clearwater’s gardens provide ample space for children to play.
Clearwater comes with a dedicated staff to take care of you. Your cook prepares three meals a day, the housekeeper takes care of the house and laundry and a laundress is provided for parties of six people or more.
In less than 5 minutes you can be in Speightstown which is a historic little town and where you can pick up fresh local fruit and vegetables from any of the vendors along the street, as well as fresh local fish from the fish market. Speightstown also offers many wonderful local cafes, bistros, bars and restaurants to try. Take a stroll over to the next bay, the popular Mullins Beach, with the lively Mullins Beach Bar & Grill.
A 10 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you into Holetown, the centre of our west coast, with everything you could possible need to satisfy your shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife needs.

Clearwater is a beachfront home. It should be noted that our beaches are constantly changing their shape and size mainly as a response to seasonal waves, currents and tides. Every effort has been made to depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur.
