    About The Property

    Porters Gate 19 is located just steps away from all the amenities and beaches that the West Coast of Barbados are known for. Located in a private, gated community, this charming 2-bedroom holiday home is the perfect space for your next trip to Barbados.

    The property was renovated at the end of 2021 and the owners have created a clean and inviting space perfect for small groups or an intimate getaway. The entire home is air-conditioned for added comfort but guests staying at Porters Gate 19 can open the large doors to the patio and enjoy the cool Caribbean breezes that make your island holiday that much more special.

    Both bedrooms are located on the top floor and offer ensuite bathrooms, high ceilings and tons of natural light. The main living room area is an open plan layout that flows onto the covered patio where you can enjoy dining with friends or relaxing in the outside garden and taking in the sun.

    Guests staying within Porters Gate can enjoy full use of the onsite tennis courts (no booking required and no fees, and you should bring your own racquets and tennis balls), large communal swimming pool with sun loungers and onsite clubhouse. There is also a table tennis table with bats/bals available in the clubhouse.

    Housekeeping is provided twice a week.

    Nearby is Ryan’s Happy Place, a general store with a selection of daily groceries, fruit and veg and household items. Also La Baguette, a fabulous French bakery with delicious breads and and pastries. A 5 minute drive and you are in Holetown, the centre of our West Coast, with loads of options for dining, shopping and entertainment. Beach access is either next to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel on the north end, or by the Colony Club hotel on the south end. Excellent swimming and snorkelling is also at the Folkstone Marine Park.
