Barbados recently announced its partnership with Copa Airlines which will see a new non-stop service between the island’s Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) and Panama’s Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City.
Commencing July 17th 2018 Copa Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, will offer a twice-weekly non-stop service featuring an Embraer 190 which offers 84 Economy seats and 10 Business Class seats, for a total 94-seat configuration.
The flights will mean a new gateway for many South American travellers to Barbados through Panama.
