Best place we have ever stayed

We couldn’t believe it when we arrived at Palm Beach Condo #108 – it was so luxurious, big and spacious, spotlessly clean with lovely modern tastefully done decor. It was like stepping into a brand new home! It had everything you could have wished for including all kitchen accessories. We loved sitting on the huge patio looking out on the lovely gardens and pool. We got picked up and dropped off from the airport and the owner Tanya met us the night we arrived and explained how everything worked which was a really nice touch and it was lovely to meet her. We felt really at home and loved the fact that the condo was on the ground floor as it was so accessible for the pool and beach. The pool was so clean and lovely to swim in (not cold) and the gardens are all really well kept. It never got too busy and we got to meet some residents and holiday makers – everyone was really friendly. We used the bar-b-que quite a lot which was great and nice to cook and eat outdoors. Its in a great location with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. This is our 15th stay in Barbados and we never tire of the place, its like paradise. The climate is lovely especially on the south coast as you get the breeze. We did lovely early morning walks along the boardwalk and my husband ran round the Garrison (horse race track) just over the road and he also used the gym which he said was really well equipped. There’s lots of parking available next to Condo if you hire a car. Our two teenage sons 13 and 17 loved it, especially having their own bedroom and en suite each. The free wifi was great. There was not much difference in price if we had booked 2 rooms in a hotel and there was no comparison in what you got for your money. We felt like we lived like millionaires for two weeks. We would definitely recommend condo 108 and we will return one day.

Guest Reviews Sunset Reach Villa

Sunset Reach was just perfect. The house was cozy and comfortable. Linda was wonderful. And her cooking was second to none! We loved the location of the house. Listening to the waves at night was like a dream. Each day we’d hop in the car and explore a new part of the island. So much to see. The people we met were so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait for a return trip.

The stay at Sunset Reach was wonderful, location is right next to Mullins Bay. We rented a car for a couple of days but could easily rent here without a car. Linda who works in the Villa fixed wonderful meals and Carolyn who rented the property was great to work with. Additionally, Sea Turtles swam by the property each morning as we were having our morning coffee. Overall a very good place to stay right on the water in Barbados.

Sunset Reach is a terrific little vacation cottage – updated in all aspects and very comfortable. The deck is wonderful with the surf practically below you – you are so close to the ocean. And sunsets are gorgeous – I couldn’t stop taking photos of them!

Carolyn has an attention to detail like no other rental agent we’ve worked with. She will do everything possible to make your arrival, your stay and your departure run seamlessly.

Linda, the house staff is fabulous – she is so friendly and efficient and we loved her cooking. In fact, my husband was trying to lure her to Arizona to do for us there what she did here at Sunset Reach.

My only (small) negative about this property is the road noise. As Carolyn’s materials state, you do hear this. We were just surprised at how busy the street is around the clock. For persons with mobility restrictions it was also not easy to get to the beach.

Overall a very comfortable cottage and a terrific vacation made even better by those we worked with!

Guest Reviews Bali Hai Villa

A real gem. Perfect setting with plenty of space, cool breeze on the terrace and the beach right on your doorstep. The most comfy sun loungers ever. The house is really well appointed – nice without you worrying massively about what the children are messing up. Our staff were also lovely. Val cooks a great prawn curry and you couldn’t get your washing more white and fluffy – everyday, from Pam! When you have two kids under two this is a huge luxury. Going out time – when you want to tear yourself away its a nice walk along the beach to the bars and restaurants at Holetown. We will be back. thank you.

We recently returned from an amazing 10 nights at Bali Hai. Through research on the internet, we came across www.barbadosbarbados.com and from the very first contact, Carolyn provided us with top notch customer service. Based on our needs, she recommended Bali Hai as a perfect home and she was correct! We were seeking a relaxing vacation to unwind with our 2 daughters (ages 5 and 8).

The house was perfect, spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for the 4 of us plus my mother-in-law who visited for a week. The rooms are lovely, the beds large and comfortable. Cable TV was great and nice to have this also in the master bedroom. The enclosed yard suited our needs with 2 young children and the close proximity to an excellent, almost deserted beach was perfection! The house is open air but very secure.

Across the street from a bank, terrific cafe/ice cream shop (Moya) and nice shopping at Cave Sheppard (I found some lovely dresses)! Also walking distance to Holetown and shopping and an easy walk along the beach to a few nice restaurants.

The staff (Valerie – cook and Pam – cleaner) were terrific, accommodating and relaxed. Valerie makes a wonderful lasagna and home made macaroni along with curry chicken and lots of fish. She was very accommodating to the ‘tastes’ of our kids.

We have traveled extensively and both agreed we did not have one complaint. We are already planning our return for 2014!

We walked past Bali Hai for years and wondered what it would be like to stay a week or two. Well the opportunity finally came and gave my family a chance only dreamed of this past January/ February 2016.

It is a wonderful property designed for relaxing with amenities plenty. The villa is staffed with friendly and accommodating staff willing helping daily with meals, housekeeping and grounds. The property is equipped to make the comforts of home constant. And of course you’re in Barbados, with a great view, swimming and snorkelling nearby and plenty of closeness to shopping and interacting with the local Barbadians and other vacationers.

For those with the need of a 3 bedroom home, this place will give lasting memories and a desire to return as often as possible. All in all, five stars in our book.

HI Carolyn, just wanted to say thank you for all of your help with arranging our holiday. We had a wonderful week in Barbados and made memories that we will cherish for years to come. We took your suggestion with Chelsea car rental and that worked out great. I even learned to drive on the left side of the road – no pedestrians, other cars, or animals were endangered! It was so much fun to introduce one of my favorite places to David and Beverly. They loved it!

Bali Hai was lovely, just as expected. We were comfortable and content and Pam did a superb job looking after us and Marie the gardener was friendly and sweet. The location is perfect and the house itself is a treasure.

Thanks again for everything. I know I’ll be coming back sometime and you will be the first person I contact!

Bali Hai is highly recommended

Bali Hai is an excellent villa, which is highly recommended. Almost like being in a hotel. The bedrooms were spotless and had beautiful roomy bathrooms which were cleaned every day and beds being prepared for us every night just like a hotel. The food that our cook prepared each day was excellent and it was lovely to lie in the sun and wait for the next meal. It was 150 feet to a sandy beach with almost no other humans.

We would definitely go back.
